How long do prayer candles burn?
Votive candles are burned in front of statues of Christ, Mother Mary, and numerous saints in the church. You may do the same thing at home if you buy a prayer candle with one of these images on it. These prayer candles, on the other hand, come in towering glass pots. Because the images frequently feature writing in both Spanish and English, they are often referred to as Mexican prayer candles. These candles are also used to commemorate the Day of the Dead.
Choose which one you want to pray to and then purchase the appropriate candle, such as the Sacred Heart of Jesus. These candles are commonly referred to as 7-day candles since they typically burn for 7 days, while the actual burn length varies based on a variety of circumstances. The divinity and purity of Christ, Mother Mary, and the saints are commonly symbolized by white candles. If you want a color other than white, you can purchase them in a variety of hues. Non-image 7-day candles are also available in solid and rainbow hues.

What are the healthiest candles?
Candles made of beeswax are the healthiest option. Beeswax candles, which are made from the caps of bee honeycombs, burn cleanly, for a long time, and emit a nice natural scent as they burn. When properly burned, beeswax candles are dripless and emit negative ions, which help to purify the air in a room. They're also non-allergenic, which means they can benefit people with hay fever, asthma, and allergies. Unlike paraffin, beeswax is obtained from a renewable natural source.
Beeswax candles last up to three times longer than paraffin or soy candles, while being more expensive. The color of pure beeswax candles ranges from golden to amber. Ivory-colored beeswax candles often have a less natural honey aroma. Blended beeswax candles should be avoided since they typically contain paraffin; instead, search for the 100 percent beeswax mark.
When it comes to burning candles, natural, 100 percent beeswax candles are the healthiest option, and they're not as pricey as they appear when you consider their extended burn time.

How do you know you are meditating correctly?
Meditation appears to be a straightforward notion… Then PRESTO! Relax and close your eyes. You're meditating, right?
There's a little more to it than that, I'm afraid. Most people need many years of effort to learn how to meditate profoundly, regularly, and effectively. However, there are some indicators that you're starting to get the hang of it.
Here are a few indicators that your meditation is on track. Don't worry if you can't get them all…just relax and close your eyes. Over time, you'll get better and better!
Being Still
Checking your own body is the first and easiest approach to ensure you're ‘doing it right.' Take a time to settle those things if you're moving about, shifting in your seat, or messing with something in your hands. Some people perceive themselves as a tree or a stone that remains stationary. This can be quite challenging for some, but it's always worth a go.
Just ‘Being'
It's time to be present in oneself once you've sat motionless. Some meditators concentrate on their breathing. Others have a mantra that they repeat over and over in their heads. Others may perform a mental inventory of their body and its location.
It's crucial to make sure you're not feeling tense or pressed, but rather light and easy. However, even if you are unable to calm your thoughts while attempting to meditate, you can still be peaceful.
No reactions
Many people mistakenly believe that meditation entails having no thoughts at all. It's a wonderful feeling to have a tranquil mind, but it's not always attainable.
The purpose of meditation is to focus on your reaction to those thoughts rather than emptying your mind. It's critical to understand how to let thoughts and ideas flow by you without allowing your mind to focus on them in order to practice proper meditation. It's a minor distinction, yet it's crucial to effective meditation.
Total awareness
During intense concentration, something funny can happen. Even if you remain motionless, present, and unresponsive to the thoughts that enter your head, your awareness of the world around you may increase!
You might catch a whiff of something you didn't notice previously. Or you might hear a faint sound outdoors. Again, the idea is not to concentrate or internalize these details, but to just note them down.
Time flies
A 10 minute meditation can feel like a blink of an eye, just as a lovely trip away can feel like it went by way too soon. Your aim is to attempt not to be concerned with the passage of time or the amount of time remaining. Your meditation skills will grow quickly if you stay in the moment and remain present.
I hope these tips give you more confidence that you CAN meditate and that it will benefit you.
