As their Death Date approaches, the three men, like Zeke, begin to show signs of drowning. Despite the fact that Pete and Kory pass their portions of the test, Jace fails and drowns on dry land. Pete and Kory appear to have beaten the Death Date, with their drowning symptoms dissipating and their injuries appearing to heal.
