Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Lover: 101 True Stories of Soul Mates Brought Together by Divine Intervention is a book I wrote many years ago. I learned about some of the different ways soulmates find each other while writing that book. It's uplifting to learn that even the most mystical, miraculous encounters necessitated the soon-to-be lovers taking actionputting themselves in the way “I was at the right place at the right time.”

It's critical to be on the lookout for indications and intellectually, emotionally, and physically ready yourself when fate calls you to action after you've established your list of desirable attributes and set the intention to find your perfect life partner. My friend Sean Roach, a renowned CEO and public speaker, used this approach to find his love.
Sean was thirty-six and starting to worry if he'd ever find the appropriate woman with whom to settle down and establish a family. He traveled for work at least twice a week and doubted that he'd be able to meet anyone because he was rarely at home and only spent a day or two in each city. Sean was receptive to some of the principles I discuss in my book The Soulmate Secret, despite the fact that he said he was not a firm believer “He decided to try his hand at “tree hugging stuff” (as he affectionately referred to it). He made a Treasure Map filled with images of happy couples lying in the sand and hanging out in the backyard by a firepit, and he chose one image in particularthat of a man with a child on his shouldersto put on his iPod and cell phone so he could see it every day.
Sean was flying to Orlando to make a speech one day. He normally spent the entire night working or catching up on e-mails, but this time he saw Pia, the night attendant, who offered him a glass of red wine. Sean boarded the jet back to the West Coast after a fast twenty-four-hour stay in Orlando, only to learn that the same crew was working on his return flight. Sean was compelled to act after overhearing a passenger behaving harshly to one of the employees around an hour into the voyage. As he defended the flight attendant, he found himself staring into Pia's eyes once more.
One of the other ight attendants, noticing the spark, stated, “Sean should be recognized for his actions, and I believe his reward should be Pia's phone number!” Sean took Pia's phone number and called her a week later. They felt as though they had known one other for years from the first dinner they had.
2. They reconnected with high school or childhood sweethearts.
3. Some people (including myself) experienced dreams or premonitions that gave them hints on how to find their soulmates, and they followed those clues.
David Brown, an Englishman, awoke one morning three years ago with a cellphone number on his mind. Brown had no idea where the number came from, but he decided to text it nonetheless in the hopes of solving the riddle. Michelle Kitson, who lived sixty miles away, was contacted. She had no idea why her phone number was on his mind, but after several conversations back and forth, they met and fell in love. David and Michelle are newlyweds who recently returned from a honeymoon in India.
True stories like this serve as a powerful reminder to pay attention to our dreams, trust our intuition, and believe that the Universe is providing us clues that will lead us to love right now.
4. A lot of people had a “They had a “gut feeling” that they should visit certain locations and decided to follow their instincts, even if they had other plans.
One woman, who was truly miserable, felt compelled to attend an aquarium, which she had never visited before and had no desire to see. But she went, and there she met and fell in love with a dolphin trainer. They currently have a happy marriage and live in Hawaii.
Another woman was invited to a gathering at the last minute. She didn't want to go out that night, but something inside her compelled her to. At that party, she met her husband. Several people were set up on blind dates by friends, and while they had never considered themselves to be the type, they were “Despite the fact that they were not the “blind date” type, they went ahead and did it anyway, only to realize that Cupid had struck.
5. They took action and signed up for an internet dating service, where they met their soul mates.
6. They met their soulmates by taking the risk of going on an adventure.
Many people fall into the trap of deferring fun and adventure until they meet their soulmates, assuming that they will have someone to share the trip with. I recall hearing about a man who was very fond of whales. He finally decided to go on a kayak trip with a group of strangers so he could get up close and personal with whales.
Not only did he see the whales, but he also met his soulmate, who happened to be kayaking beside him. I know a couple who met on a trip to a foreign country where they had not anticipated to find romance. Mike was from Minneapolis, and Vivian was from Boston. They met at the Greek island of Crete. Isn't love wonderful?
Taking a risk or pursuing your heart's desire might sometimes bring you right to the doorway of your beloved. Gabrielle, a young woman I met in a marketing class I taught, for example, had been interested in studying Spanish since she was a teenager. She fantasized about meeting the ideal Latin boyfriend, who would gently teach her the language before whisking her off to Mexico for exotic vacations.
When she told me this, I encouraged her to pursue her enthusiasm for learning the language instead of waiting. Who knew where it would take them? Gabrielle contacted me a few years later, and I was delighted to hear from her. She enrolled in a local community college's Spanish class, where she met a new acquaintance who introduced her to the man who is now her fiance (and yes, he is Latin!).
Consider this: What's the worst that may happen if you decide to pursue your interests and passions more actively? You'll almost certainly make yourself happier, healthier, and more intelligent. You'll probably meet some interesting people along the way, and you'll be advertising your unique interests and preferences to the Universe even louder.
Is this to say that you should fill every available hour on your calendar with activities in the hopes of speeding up the process of meeting your soulmate? Certainly not! You're missing the point if you're motivated to go out every night by the worry that your sweetheart would never find you if you stay at home. There is a significant distinction between inspired and compulsive action.
As I'm defining it here, inspired action occurs when you already feel lovable and enjoy your own company and are then guided to do something that will amplify that joy. Compulsive behavior, on the other hand, is motivated by feelings of isolation, despair, and fear.
Keep in mind that the fundamental Law of Attraction states that “What attracts like attracts like.” When your actions are motivated by a sense of emptiness or unfulfillment, it's very likely that you'll attract more of the same. Have faith that everything will work out. Take action when the indicators are there, but don't feel obligated to act if the inspiration isn't present. When you choose to do nothing at all, love sometimes finds you.
How do I spiritually attract my soulmate?
You've found your soul match. Someone with whom you are destined to share a deep love. If you haven't met this individual yet, it's likely that you want to meet him or her. Good. You certainly can. I'll show you how to do it.
You're more likely to get what you want in a relationship if you're conscious of what you want. In this way, you have control over your love life.
Here are five things you can do to get ready for the most important love of your life:
1. Have faith in love.
Do you believe you can have a relationship that nourishes, excites, and motivates you to return for more?
I sincerely hope so, because believing in love is a necessary (and unavoidable) step toward making it a reality.
You can't be in a relationship with someone you don't believe in. As a result, if you have any limiting assumptions about what is possible in love, you should challenge them as soon as possible.
If you find yourself believing that a fantastic relationship is out of your reach, remind yourself of the following: “No way! This is a misconception. I know I'm supposed to be in love with someone beautiful.”
You'll believe more and more that a great love is meant for you as you practice separating your limiting thoughts. And anything is possible when this occurs.
2. Recover from old hurts.
If you want to move past your wounds, you must first become acquainted with them. You can take measures to cure this aspect of yourself by learning about your setbacks, allowing a more fulfilling love to come to you.
How do you go about doing this? First and foremost, acknowledge your relationship issues. This could be a feeling of abandonment, being trapped, or not being good enough. Once you've identified the problem, you may begin to cure it by taking care of yourself in the same way that you've been injured by others.
Let me give you an illustration. If you've been rejected in previous relationships, you need to quit rejecting yourself. Accepting your feelings, being kind to yourself, and creating room for all aspects of who you are are all examples of this.
These scars will heal when you love yourself the way you want to be loved. You won't need to act them out with other people in your life once they've done so.
3. Commit to everyday self-love.
People will treat you the same way they treat you. As a result, adoring yourself is the best approach to attract a spouse who adores you. Not just on the surface, but also deep within.
Take the best possible care of yourself. Love all aspects of who you are while attempting to accept each one. Allow yourself to indulge in excess and the finer things in life. Make it a point to feel good on a daily basis.
Honor yourself in the same way that you would like to be honored by a partner. This is one of the most important keys to discovering true love.
4. Have fun before your partner shows up.
If you want a good relationship, you must have a fantastic life before that person comes into your life.
People often assume that finding a mate is the key to happiness, so they put their happiness on hold in quest of love. But this isn't the case!
Your life is currently taking place. The more you love it, the more appealing you become to others, and the more likely you are to enjoy your next partner when he or she comes along.
5. Be true to yourself.
You must live from your soul if you want to find your actual soul match – someone who authentically complements your soul.
Living from your soul, in my opinion, is fairly simple. It entails getting in touch with the deepest part of yourself, your real self, and committing to living your life from that point.
Everyone has a soul. It encapsulates the essence of who you are. Others who share your passion, excitement, elegance, and love will find their way to you when you live soulfully. It's tough to resist a soulful individual.
I'm ecstatic for you to begin this adventure of attracting your life's greatest love. Remember that if you believe it to be true, anything is possible.
Please tell us what you're planning to do to attract your soul mate in the comments section below. I eagerly await your response!
Can a soulmate trigger you?
Surprise! Someone who is in your life to teach you is a true soulmate. Soulmates have the ability to make you feel like the world is your oyster while also triggering you. But don't worry, all of this “triggering” is for your benefit. Relationships reflect how we feel about ourselves, and let's face it, that's not always a nice picture. Don't hold it against me. It's just that I'm the messenger. This was not orchestrated by me. In fact, YOU were the one who did it! You decided what lessons your soul needed to learn and how you were going to learn them before you came to Earth.
How do you bond with your soul mate?
You may strengthen your heart connection and make your relationship a soulmate-type of love by being loving, kind, and doing wonderful things for each other. You can strengthen your soul connection by undertaking “life-affirming” activities together, such as yoga or attending religious services.
How do you know if your soulmate is thinking of you?
Psychological sense of touch You'll either hear their voice or feel their presence. If your soulmate is thinking of you, you will sense their presence no matter where you are or what you are doing. This may be unsettling because you may hear their voice while attending a crucial business meeting, but don't be alarmed.
Who can be soulmate?
A soulmate is someone with whom you have a natural or profound connection. Similarity, love, romance, platonic relationships, comfort, intimacy, sexuality, sexual activity, spirituality, compatibility, and trust are all examples of this.
Where do soulmates meet?
If you're anything like me, you'll look like a clammy, wet trainwreck after every workout. The gym isn't the place to flaunt your gorgeous side, but you don't have to look like a swan all of the time if you're serious about someone. If there's a regular at the gym you'd want to meet, go up to him or her when you're ready. Not to go all schoolgirl on you, but if approaching strangers makes you anxious, bring a friend with you. You're not the only one who feels this way.
How many soulmates do we have?
You can have multiple soulmates. “You only have one twin flame,” says the narrator. According to the belief, if you meet someone with whom you have a strong connection, there's a good chance they're a member of your larger soul family.
What does soulmate connection feel like?
A soul tie is just the feeling that another soul is present in your life for a reason. For example, if your life is extremely hectic and you meet a new potential friend or business partner, the feeling that you share a soul connection with this person may motivate you to make time in your schedule for the relationship. If a friend says they have to give up their pet because they have to move overseas unexpectedly, your clairsentient, or feeling, psychic pathway may give you the impression that you have a soul tie with this animal and that adopting it into your house is the proper thing to do for both of you. Soul ties might be thought of as the ties that bind, like in Bruce Springsteen's song!
