How To Unlock Your Spiritual Gifts

When embarking on any voyage, one must take all reasonable precautions to safeguard herself from any foreseeable or improbable tragedy. If you're going hiking in the Arizona Mountains, you should bring several jugs of water with you. A few for your car, a few for you, and a few for any other living creature with you, whether it's friends, family, or Spencer, your Golden Retriever. If you grew up in Arizona like me, you learned to always bring a couple of bags of Doritos with you. To replenish water if you become dehydrated (for example, due to heatstroke), eat something salty and dry (such as Saltines) and then drink water slowly so you don't pee it out. When I was younger, basic desert survival was taught in Arizona schools.

So, while I help you on your journey of discovering and/or rediscovering your psychic and mediumistic skills, I'll start with protection. Because, like the desert, you'll need some basic gear and follow some fundamental guidelines to have the most enjoyable journey.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you work psychically without protection, the worst case scenario is headaches, emotional instability, and minor physical discomfort.

You will not, and cannot, be possessed by disembodied entities, spirits, or ghosts as long as you are attempting to better and enhance your life. Movies, drug addicts, the mentally sick, and religious groups are all working together to discourage you from learning more about the New Age.

Only the messages you hear in readings will pose a threat. You may see and attract negative and lower energy messages if you don't use some form of protective mechanism for clear and highest level communications. Everyone becomes unhappy or exhausted as a result of them.

This is arguably the most well-known and quickest approach to safeguard oneself before embarking on any spiritual activity.

Light your incense; sage is wonderful for this. Go to that relaxing spot. Any incense that resonates with you will suffice. You can light one or more candles. White candles are the finest in this instance. Turn off or turn off any external distractions (cell phones, television), and listen to natural sounds or a music-only CD. Please take a seat in a comfortable position.

Imagine a dazzling white light shining down from above — the highest realm. As long as you know, imagine, and experience it as the highest, most positive source of illumination, you can call it Heaven, the Universe, God, Source, or Creator.

See the highest realm's white light flow down into the top of your head, illuminating your internal organs, bloodstream, and encircling your complete body from head to toe. Then, like a force field of positive loving highest energy, you are filled with this all-loving, unconditionally loving white light that emanates around and into you, and this light will be with you throughout your undertakings. You've been psychically shielded and will now only attract positive energy.

You can also do this rapidly simply saying “white light” and visualizing the light washing over you (in your mind's eye).

When I'm walking alone and/or feel uneasy, I'll often utilize it. It gives me comfort to know that I am surrounded by the highest good and only draw higher level energy. “White light surrounds me, God is with me!” I'll exclaim when I'm feeling particularly vulnerable.

This is another one that I use and it's great for when you're feeling uneasy. Whether you believe you are in danger from lower-level energies or from actual living humans who may wish to harm you. This is particularly useful after using the White Light Technique since it creates a more powerful, unbreakable force field around your positive light.

This is also a crucial method to employ when developing your psychic and medium abilities. Many unusual things will happen, and the Velvet Curtain of Protection will assist you in keeping them under control. You'll be glad I told you about it!

This can be done in a leisurely manner, similar to The White Light Technique, or as soon as you feel threatened or uneasy. Imagine your angels or guardians draping a purple or black velvet curtain around you to bring it down from above. Some people think of it as a hooded cloak, while others think of it as a lovely shower curtain. It must cover your full body from head to toe and be portable. It's the velvet curtain of invisibility, which comes in purple or black. Strangers and lower energy beings can't see you because you're protected by this force field, thus they won't notice you.

Your Spiritual Ability is a Daydreamer! You have dreams about things that happen in the future and in the past, and you can see into the future and the past.
