Is Joshua Tree a spiritual place?
If you've been following around for a while, you'll know that Joshua Tree is one of my favorite spots in California. “There's a peculiar desert charm in Joshua Tree,” a friend of mine said on the way to the trip, and she was right! There is magic here, from the dark sky zone level stars to the outlines of Joshua Trees in the morning light. Furthermore, this National Park, like Sedona, has its own vortices and is well-known for spiritual and healing retreats.
Joshua Tree is one of my favorite places to visit because of the seclusion, rock climbing, and old desert romance, but it's also a popular spot for yoga and meditation retreats.
Which country is most spiritual?
Canada achieved first place in the Global Spirituality Index, which was released by luxury trip booking business Wayfairer Travel, after scoring strongly in categories such as quality of life and religious freedom.
Because the authors of the list took into account more than just the number of people who claim to be religious, they ranked countries based on a variety of factors.
The research also graded countries on religious tolerance, freedom, wellbeing, and quality of life, in addition to religious population, variety, and spiritual sights.
Surprisingly, while Canada received a low score in the category of religious population (2 out of a potential 7 points), it made up for it by scoring a perfect seven out of seven in categories like variety and quality of life.
Syria, on the other hand, was placed at the bottom of the list, after Slovakia and Iraq.
